Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Gölhisar Applied Sciences School was established in 2017. In the 2017-2018 academic year, with the letter dated 06.11.2017 and numbered 75902 from the Higher Education Council Presidency on "Department/Program";

it was decided to provide undergraduate level 4-year education in three programs.
Our school is located in the Gölhisar district of Burdur province. It is located at the Denizli entrance of the district, opposite the Credit Dormitories Institution (KYK), and has a physical structure of 7288 m2 in its own campus, with a seating area of 1140 m2, a closed area of 5700 m2, and social facilities of 1000 m2. Our school has 12 classrooms, 8 laboratory classes, 1 computer laboratory, 1 electronics laboratory, 1 3D working laboratory, 1 study hall with internet connection, and 1 mini amphitheater, waiting for our students to provide modern education. For the social, cultural, and sports activities of our incoming students, there is 1 basketball-volleyball court and 1 indoor sports hall. Apart from these, they can benefit from the physical facilities in the Youth Center and other units of our University.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, our school started to admit students to the BTBS (Computer Technologies and Information Systems) department, and in the 2019-2020 academic year, to the Land Registry and Cadastre Department, and has started to graduate students. Currently, with 6 Faculty Members, 6 Lecturers, and 5 administrative staff and employees, we provide educational services to our students and our country. Our school will continue to grow rapidly in the upcoming academic period and will continue to contribute to the trained manpower needed by our country.
To our students; during their education, in addition to all the theoretical knowledge necessary throughout their working lives, practical skills are also effectively provided thanks to the existing laboratories, in a manner befitting its name. Additionally, to ensure our students' success under the competitive conditions of the business world they will be in the future, social and cultural activities are also emphasized alongside educational activities. Participation in many national and international events held in our country is provided through our school.
